The Higher National Diploma (HND) in Digital Technologies aims to enhance your career and employability in the areas of Artificial Intelligence by developing your skillset through the study of deployed Intelligent Systems and evaluate technical and ethical challenges and opportunities.

This diploma is equivalent the first two years of a bachelor’s degree, allowing students seamless transfers to a top-up degree with over 200 universities worldwide.

This course focuses on building current skills required in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and allows students to develop up-to-date knowledge in AI solutions and applications. Students will investigate AI fundamentals including data gathering, validation, and processing along with other related topics.

On successful completion of this course, students are introduced to the science behind machine intelligence and the philosophical debate around the ambitions of simulating human intelligence to solve real-world problems. Students will be guided to appreciate AI types and applications and develop a better understanding of issues related to intelligent agents. Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI), Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), Ambient Intelligence, the major differences between top-down and bottom-up approaches to AI, and understanding Machine Learning (ML) algorithms are also covered in this course.
