Program Overview

Digital Solutions, whether they be web, cloud- or mobile-based, or commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications, form a discipline burgeoning with diverse new technologies and challenges. Traditionally, management of digital solutions has required both breadth of technology awareness as well as strong organizational and operational skills, but the proliferation of new technologies and methodologies has increased demand for managers with current, leading-edge skills. This three-semester Ontario College Graduate Certificate program concentrates on hands-on experiential practices and techniques commonly employed in modern IT Management. Using case methodologies, you will collaboratively develop best practices of technology leadership, to develop the skills necessary to continually adapt to the ongoing changes that occur in the digital arena. You will gain valuable skills and knowledge in systems (desktop and server), infrastructure services, cloud technologies, as well as software development methodologies. You will also acquire foundational knowledge in organizational behavior, financial management and IT vendor relations. Graduates will have a diverse set of skills for leadership positions in areas such as information systems, information technology, applications, software development, and vendor relations.
